Hey G’day, my name’s Wil.No doubt you have no idea who I am and that’s fair enough. My backyard of the Gulf Savannah Country is a long way from the glittering lights of Melbourne, which they tell me is down south.I’m just a big kid with a huge passion for wildlife, specifically those with scales and venom and all things misunderstood. That passion has got me to where I am today. I don’t have a uni degree and I’m not very pretty to look at but my passion has given me the ability to listen, learn and tell the hell out of a story. A story that the Victorian Herpetological Society has invited me down to share with you. Honestly, I feel as flash as Michael Jackson right now!

From my childhood days when I acquired my first Spotted Python, to being lucky enough to work professionally in Zoos for a decade with Taipans and Salties where I met my female, Mel. To driving one of the most iconic trains in Northern Australia, the Savannah lander, while I rescue wildlife along the way. I’m pretty sure you’re going to enjoy the yarn. So come along to the Angler’s Tavern in Maribyrnong, which I am told is near Victoria, for a few laughs and hopefully a bit of inspiration. Mel and I will see you thereðŸ¤
